Precision Medicine in COPD

Precision Medicine in cancer patients refers to a method of analyzing the genes of cancer cells using a next-generation sequencer, finding the gene mutation that caused the cancer, and using a molecularly targeted drug designed to be effective against that gene mutation. This is also called tailormade or personalized medicine. A definition of Precise Medicine in COPD does not yet exist. This Article Collection is a first step towards a definition.
