This section welcomes multidisciplinary clinical, translational, together with basic experimental and theoretical research associated with the central and peripheral nervous system. This includes disorders in the increasing complexity of care for central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous system conditions. The section’s scope encompasses research across all major areas of neurology and neuroscience, ranging from basic cellular mechanisms and epidemiology to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of diverse acute and chronic neurological conditions.

Topics included are studies that involve cerebrovascular disease; neuro-oncology; neuromuscular disorder; neuroinflammation and infection; epilepsy and seizure management; headache and pain medicine; sleep medicine; stroke; dementia; Alzheimer’s disease; neurodegenerative disorder; brain tumor; peripheral neuropathy; encephalopathy; meningitis; cerebral venous thrombosis; and spinal disease.
