Understanding the Biological Mechanisms of Aging Diseases through Integrating Multiomics Data
The biological mechanisms of aging-related diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disorders, etc., remain complex. Advancements in multiomics technologies—such as genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and spatial and single-cell omics—are providing unprecedented insights into these mechanisms. By integrating data from various molecular layers and resolutions, researchers can uncover the intricate networks that contribute to the onset and progression of aging and associated diseases, enabling a holistic view of the molecular changes occurring across different biological systems.
