Glioblastoma Pathophysiology
Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive and lethal forms of brain cancer, characterized by its rapid proliferation and pronounced invasiveness. Despite significant advancements in therapeutic interventions, the prognosis for patients with glioblastoma remains dismal, underscoring the urgent need for a more profound understanding of the disease’s pathophysiology. Glioblastoma remains resistant to conventional therapies, leading to a median survival time of only 12-15 months for most patients.
