Rare Breast Cancer Subtypes
Breast cancer remains one of the most prevalent and widely-researched cancers worldwide. While significant advancements have been made in understanding and treating common types of breast cancer, rare subtypes remain underexplored and underrepresented in research. Rare breast cancer subtypes generally exhibit distinct biological and molecular characteristics that differentiate them from more common subtypes. They are also frequently diagnosed at later stages, and there is often a lack of data on optimal treatment protocol and standardized therapeutic approaches. This Article Collection highlights research on rare breast cancer subtypes.
