Over the years, the number of food and dietary trends available for pets has drastically increased, alongside an overall increase in the "humanization" of pet food; owners can now choose between raw, organic, gluten free etc more than ever before. With some of these trends being extreme, there is now a need to investigate these new trends and diets for their nutritional value to pets as well as their safety and effect on the animal. This Collection presents the nutritional impact of these diets and their impact on the pets' behavior and short- or long-term health outcomes.
