We, the Editors and Publisher of the journal Cancer Management and Research, have retracted the published article.

After publication, concerns have been raised by a third party in 2024 about the integrity of the data in Figure 6 of the article.

Further investigation conducted by the Journal and Publisher confirmed the following:

  • Unexpected similarities between the image panels in Figures 4D and 6C that are representative of different samples and treatment conditions.
  • Unexpected similarities between Figures 4D and figures from the following article by an unrelated author group:Zhang H, Chen R, Shao J. RETRACTED: MicroRNA-96-5p Facilitates the Viability, Migration, and Invasion and Suppresses the Apoptosis of Cervical Cancer Cells by Negatively Modulating SFRP4. Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment. 2020;19. https://doi.org/10.1177/1533033820934132
  • Unexpected similarities between the Western Blots in Figure 5E ZBTB7A of this article and Figure 6A GOLM1 of the following article from an unrelated author group:Ge X, Gu Y, Li D, Jiang M, Zhao S, Li Z, Liu S. Knockdown of lncRNA PCAT1 Enhances Radiosensitivity of Cervical Cancer by Regulating miR-128/GOLM1 Axis. OncoTargets and Therapy. 2020;13:10373–10385. https://doi.org/10.2147/OTT.S263728
  • Unexpected similarities between the cell staining images in Figure 6C of this article and Figure 6D of the following article from an unrelated author group:Ge X, Gu Y, Li D, Jiang M, Zhao S, Li Z, Liu S. (2020). Knockdown of lncRNA PCAT1 Enhances Radiosensitivity of Cervical Cancer by Regulating miR-128/GOLM1 Axis. OncoTargets and Therapy. 2020;13:10373–10385. https://doi.org/10.2147/OTT.S263728
