This is in response to the Letter to the Editor

Dear editor

We would like to thank Hammad for the letter regarding our paper.

We agree with your opinion on several limitations of this study, such as the lack of post-bronchodilator spirometry, comorbidities, cross-sectional nature of the study, lack of information about medication compliance, and recruiting patients who never smoked. Therefore, we already mentioned about these limitations in our paper. We would appreciate it if you could look at the results of the paper with these limitations in mind.

We thank the author of the letter to the editor for taking the time to review our study.
