Concerns were raised regarding the alleged duplication of images in Figure 2 with the same images from Figure 1 in Zhu et al, 2015 ‘A novel in situ gel base of deacetylase gellan gum for sustained ophthalmic drug delivery of ketotifen: in vitro and in vivo evaluation’ (

The authors did not respond to our queries and no explanation for the alleged image duplication was provided. The Editor determined that the reported findings were unreliable and requested to retract the article. The authors were notified of this.
