Zhou J, Di M, Han H. Onco Targets Ther. 2019;12:7067–7077.

We, the Editors and Publisher of the journal OncoTargets and Therapy have retracted the published article.

Following publication, image integrity concerns were raised regarding Figures 2C, 2D, 2F, 3A, 3C, 4, 5B, 6A and 6D. The authors also contacted the journal to request a withdrawal of their article and later requested a correction to Figure 6A.

When asked for further information and an explanation for the image concerns, the authors were unable to address the concerns raised.

As verifying the validity of published work is core to the integrity of the scholarly record, we are therefore retracting the article. The authors listed in this publication have been informed. The corresponding author has agreed to retract the article.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and the COPE guidelines.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
