At the authors request, we, the Editor and Publisher of the journal Psychology Research and Behaviour Management have retracted the following article.

Following publication of the article, the author advised the journal that a significant portion of the article’s content was derived from translations of the Chinese language article ‘Cold thoughts under the ChatGPT craze: A perspective of disgust and appreciation based on psychological algorithms’ which was published in 2023 by Qi Yawei et al, by the Journal of Chongqing University of Technology (Social Science). The author did not provide adequate acknowledgment regarding the original source material.

The author apologizes for this error and appreciates the readership’s understanding in this matter. In the interest of upholding research integrity and ensuring the trustworthiness of the scientific record, the author believes it is necessary to retract the article. We, the Editor and Publisher, agreed with this decision.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and COPE guidelines.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
