Dr. Qian Wu currently is an assistant research scientist at New York University Langone Medical Center, NY, USA, where she works on immunotherapy for
neurodegenerative diseases, in particular Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Dr. Wu received her PhD degree in Neuroscience from Rutgers University, NJ, USA,
where she worked on exploring the molecular mechanisms that regulate dendritic spine morphogenesis and plasticity. Before moving to US, she received her MS degree in Pharmacology and BS degrees in Pharmaceutic science and Psychology from Peking University, Beijing, China. She studies the pathogenesis and therapy for Parkinson's disease (PD) in China. She has several years of experience in animal models, primary neuronal cultures, live cell imaging, two photon in vivo imaging.
