Dr. Lucette Cysique is a neuroscientist (neuropsychology and neuroimaging background) and conducts cross-disciplinary research into the neurocognitive changes associated with chronic immune disorders (HIV, Hep C), aging, cardio-vascular diseases, cancer as well as their underpinnings in brain structural and metabolic changes. She has also extensive experience in cross-cultural neuropsychology as applied to HIV infection as well as cross-sectional and longitudinal neuropsychological normative data development. Dr. Cysique is currently a NHMRC Career Development Research Fellow and a Senior Lecturer at Neuroscience Research Australia /The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. Dr. Cysique’s cursus includes a Neuropsychology MA at Lyon I University and a Neuroscience MA at Paris VI University in France; a Ph.D. (09/2005, UNSW Australia) in the neuropsychology of HIV infection, a 3 - year post-doctoral fellowship at the HIV Neurobehavioral Research Centre (HNRC – San Diego, US).
