LaTrice Montgomery is an Assistant Professor in the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling Program in the School of Human Services in the College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati.  She received her B.A. degree in Psychology from Berea College and both her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her National Institute on Drug Abuse sponsored clinical internship at the Yale University School of Medicine in the Division of Substance Abuse. Dr. Montgomery’s clinical and research interests have focused on improving prevention and treatment interventions for African American adolescent and adult substance users. Her current research focuses on the co-occurring use of marijuana and tobacco among African American young adults.
