On page 458 (second paragraph, first column), the sentence should read “The clinical laboratory findings (erythrocyte sedimentation rate, leukocyte and platelet counts, and plasma hemoglobin, plasma protein C, plasma protein S, fibrinogen, and antithrombin III levels), the results of the kidney and liver function tests, and resistance to activated protein C were all normal.”
On page 458 (third paragraph, first column), the first sentence now reads “Ultrasound imaging of the leg veins showed a previous DVT in the right common femoral vein, and dilated superficial inguinal veins. In addition, acute DVT of the calf veins was noted.”
