Page 6, Adverse Events and Satisfaction with Sedation section, last line, the text “One patient (1.7%) in the CS group developed postoperative delirium within 2 hours” should not have been included in the published paper.

Page 7, Adverse Events and Satisfaction with Sedation section, second line, the text “or delirium” should not have been included in the published paper.

The last two sentences of the Adverse Events and Satisfaction with Sedation section should read as “No significant differences were observed in the overall incidence of intraoperative adverse events between the two groups (P > 0.05). No significant differences were found between the groups in the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting, dizziness, headache, or somnolence within 2 hours after surgery (P > 0.05) (Table 2)”.
