Dr Alaa Abd-Elsayed

Dr. Abd-Elsayed serves as the Medical Director for UW Health Pain Services, Medical Director UW Pain Clinic, Division Chief, Chronic Pain Medicine and Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

He has published more than 200 peer reviewed manuscripts, more than 100 book chapters, edited 27 books and presented dozens of presentations on the national and international level.

Dr. Abd-Elsayed serves as an editor and reviewer for several high impact journals. He is actively involved in several societies including NANS, ASRA, ASPN, ASIPP, WSA and ASA.

His research interests include neuromodulation, neuropathic pain, new devices and complex regional pain syndrome.
