Dr Huang is is Honorary Director and Chief expert of Institute of Neurorestoratology, General Hospital of Chinese Armed Police Forces (China). He is also the President of the Beijing Hongtianji Neuroscience Academy (China). Dr Huang is the Founding President of the International Association of Neurorestoratology (founded in 2007) and Founding Director of the Chinese Association of Neurorestoratology (founded in 2014). Dr Huang specializes in Spinal Neurosurgery, Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, Tumor Neurosurgery and Neurorestoratology. Since 2001, he has been doing clinical neurorestorative studies through olfactory ensheathing cells and other kinds of cell transplantation for patients with central nervous diseases. Then he put forward the CNS neurorestorable theory and the concept of Neurorestoratology. He has published over 150 scientific papers in the field of Neurorestoratology and edited three books: OEC Transplantation, CNS Neurorestoratology and Neurorestoratology.
