Dr Feng, Centre for Innate Immunity and Infectious Diseases, Hudson Institute of Medical Research, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Dr Shouya Feng completed her PhD in innate immunology under the supervision of Professor Si Ming Man at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University. Her doctoral research focused on inflammasome biology and host–pathogen interactions.
Following her PhD, Dr Feng was recruited to the laboratory of Professor Seth L. Masters as a postdoctoral scientist. Her research investigates the molecular mechanisms regulating inflammasome activation and how inflammasome dysregulation contributes to autoinflammatory diseases. She currently focuses on characterizing disease-associated mutations in inflammasome sensors and regulators identified in patients, with the aim of guiding diagnosis and informing targeted therapeutic strategies.
