Amudha Kadirvelu (MBBS, PhD) is a pharmacologist with clinical background and Associate Professor at Monash University Malaysia. Her PhD focused on the clinical physiology and pharmacology of vascular function in health and disease. She has won the Young investigator’s award for 3 consecutive years at national and Asean level for her work on vascular function in complex disorders. Her research takes a multi-disciplinary approach to the understanding of pathophysiology and management of cardiovascular diseases. Her research interests include ethnic variations in cardiovascular drug responses, chronic disease management and medical education.
