Professor Dong Wang

Dr. Dong Wang is a Professor and research group leader at School of Biomedical Engineering, Hainan University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Xiamen University (2014). He was a joint Ph.D. student at University of Cincinnati and Wake Forest University, USA (2012-2013), Research Fellow at National University of Singapore (2015-2017) and Visiting Scholar at Tsinghua University (2017-2019).

Dr. Wang's research interest focuses on novel biomaterials and biomedical devices for wearable and implantable sensing, conformal nano-bio interface, biosensors, flexible electronics. He is a member of the Organoids and Organ-on-a-Chip Branch, Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, a senior member of Chinese Society for Biomaterials, Biophysical Society of China and other scientific societies.
