Dr. Leonidas D. Panos (MD, Res) serves as a Consultant at the Neurology Department of the Hospital of Biel/Bienne and previously worked for 10 years at Bern University Hospital (Inselspital) in Switzerland.

Dr. Panos is elected to the position of Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. From January to June 2024, he also served as a Visiting Lecturer in Neurology at the University of Cyprus.
He holds an MD (Dr. med.) from the University of Bern, where his research focused on the neurological manifestations of cardiac myxomas, as well as a medical degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Dr. Panos has extensive experience in stroke, headache, neuroimmunology, dementia, and neurorehabilitation. His contributions to the field include numerous publications, particularly on large-scale epidemiological studies of neurological diseases, as well as research on stroke and cerebral microbleeds.
