Dr. Aagaard is a Junior Associate (assistant attorney) in the Life Science Team at Bech-Bruun law firm in Copenhagen, Denmark.
 
Lise Aagaard specialises in life sciences, including regulatory science, food law, medico, clinical testing, market access and pharmacovigilance.
 
She graduated as a pharmacist (MSc pharm) in 2001, and in 2005 she received her Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in Organization and Management. In 2008 she earned her PhD degree within pharmacovigilance, and in 2015 she became master of law. 
 
From 2012-2016 she was professor of clinical pharmacy and deputy study director at the University of Southern Denmark. Her research activities focuses on pharmacovigilance, drug safety, medicine use in children and adolescents, and health policy.
 
Previously, Lise was associate professor in the social pharmacy group at the University of Copenhagen, regulator in the Danish Medicines Agency, designed the national drug-drug interaction database and made quality control at H. Lundbeck A/S.
 
Lise Aagaard has served as a member of advisory boards for more scientific journals as well as in national and international evaluation committees.
 
Lise Aagaard was former member of the research council of Odense University Hospital and Chair of board of the Danish Pharmaceutical Society.
