Dr Rocío de la Vega is a Ramón y Cajal Researcher at the University of Málaga (Spain), where she leads a research program focused on the development, evaluation, and implementation of psychological and digital health interventions for adolescents with chronic pain.

Trained in Health Psychology, she completed postdoctoral training at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington. Her work integrates evidence-based psychological therapies, user-centered co-design, and implementation science to improve access to care. She has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and actively contributes to international research networks and clinical guideline development in pediatric pain.
