Dr Alberto Caminero

Dr Alberto Caminero is an Associate Professor at McMaster University and a full member of the Farncombe Family Digestive Health Institute (Canada). His research focuses on uncovering the interactions between diet and the microbiota that are relevant to inflammatory bowel disease and food sensitivities, including food allergies and celiac disease. Dr Caminero brings specialized expertise in microbiome research, gnotobiotic models, and preclinical modeling of inflammation and food sensitivities.
