Dr Siddiqui is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Biology at University of Hail in Saudi Arabia. His research experience and interest are to study host-parasites interaction, immune response (specific T, B, MQ, Dendritic cells and specific memory T, B related study) during parasite interaction, natural bioactive compound role in cancer, drugs and vaccine development against parasites infection.

Presently, Dr Siddiqui is working on parasite diversity, natural bioactive compound role in cancer, immune responses, diagnosis and vaccine development against parasites (Plasmodium and Schistosoma). Previously, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas, United State of America from 2016 to 2018.

In 2011, Dr Siddiqui was awarded a scholarship by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, India for Higher Education Council to pursue his PhD in Parasitology and Immunology at the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute Lucknow (CDRI), India and he completed his PhD in 2015.

Dr Siddiqui has more than 14 years of research experience in the field of studying clinically and economically important human pathogens. He has published more than 150 research articles in many peer-reviewed international journals and authored or co-authored many book chapters and acted as a book editor. Dr. Siddiqui currently serves as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator on multiple research projects funded by the Deanship of Research at the University of Hail, as well as other prestigious Saudi Arabian universities.

Dr. Siddiqui is an Associate and Academic Editor for 3 Biotech, Journal of Immunology Research, PeerJ, Brain Science, Stem Cells International, BioMed Research International, Canadian Journal of Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology and he is an Advisory Board Member of Heliyon. Dr Siddiqui is also a member of the Annals of Parasitology scientific committee in Poland and the Indian Science Congress in India.
