Isha Chandra received her M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Jiwaji University, Madhya Pradesh followed by an M.Tech in Biotechnology from the Institute of Engineering and Technology affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). During her studies, she worked on the RAPD technique to estimate the genetic diversity of the Meliaceae family. She was also part of a bioinformatics project, where she studied molecular docking to predict Benzimidazole derivatives used as IMPDH inhibitors against Cryptosporidium parvum. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and has also participated in National Conferences and Workshops at AIIMS (New Delhi) and at National JALMA Institute of Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases (Agra). Subsequently, she worked as an Editor in STM Publication, a division of Consortium E-Learning Network Pvt. Ltd.
