Experimental Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy
I am an Experimental Psychologist and PhD in Cognitive Psychophysiology and Personality from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, and a former PostDoc at Washington State University, WA, USA, with the Affective Neuroscience pioneer Jaak Panksepp.
My research experience ranges from animal behaviour related to psychiatric disorders, to EEG correlates of human personality and cognition: both highlight my keen interest for the biological markers of normal and pathological brain-mind function.
I have been also trained in psychometric testing, and I have completed my 4-year training as an Attachment-based Psychotherapist.
At the European Commission - Directorate General for Communication, Content & Technology, Brussels, Belgium, I have been working on Open Innovation 2.0, and on Ethical and Societal Challenges of new Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, as well as an Independent Expert (Reviewer) for Research and Innovation (Horizon 2020 EU Programme).
