Dr Nicola Ludin completed her MSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and PhD in Anaesthesiology at The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her research has primarily focussed on understanding the effect of general anaesthesia on the circadian clock and sleep in honey bees, mice and humans. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and presented at scientific meetings in New Zealand and internationally (Australia, USA, Europe). She continues active research interests and maintains an Honorary Research Fellow position in the Department of Anaesthesiology, The University of Auckland.
