Dr. Zhaogang Yang is a postdoctoral researcher at NSF Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center for Affordable Nanoengineering of Polymeric Biomedical Devices, the Ohio State University, USA. Dr. Yang received his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2003) and M.S. in Pharmaceutics (2006) from Peking University, China. Then, he completed his M.S. in Pharmacology (2010) and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences(2012) at the Ohio State University, USA. He served as a post doctor in Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for 1 year (2013), and currently, he is a postdoctoral research at the Ohio State University.

Dr. Yang's research interests focus on the application of nanotechnology in drug delivery, including nanoparticle based cancer detection, gene delivery and cancer therapy, and nanoelectroporation in gene therapy. He has authored 1 book chapter, 27 peer-reviewed journal papers, 7 conference abstracts, and 1 patent. He is an editorial board member of the " European Journal of BioMedical Research" and "International Journal of Infectious and Tropical Diseases". In addition, he is the Guest Editor for "Current Organic Synthesis" special issue and "European Journal of BioMedical Research" special issue.
