Dr. Mustafa Erinç Sitar received his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical School. Following in time, he received postgraduate training as a specialist for clinical biochemistry at the same faculty from 2009 to 2014. During this time, he found the chance to work as a researcher in Hannover Medical School Institute of Pharmocology and Toxicology, Biomarkers Analysis Laboratory with an outstanding team focusing on molecular researches. Dr.Sitar worked as a laboratory physician in Turkish Republic Ministry of Health Artvin State Hospital Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory between March 2014 and November 2015. He is a researcher, lecturer and clinical biochemist at Istanbul Maltepe University, Medical School Department of Clinical Biochemistry since 2015 November.
His scientific interests and research projects focus on oxidative stress, biological aging, animal disease models and development of novel in vitro diagnostic biomarkers.
