This paper has been retracted.

Gao G, Shi X, Shen J. Onco Targets Ther. 2021;14:3881—3894.

At the authors request, the Editor and Publisher of OncoTargets and Therapy wish to retract the published article. The first author (Gao G) has informed the journal that they the published the same article (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12935-021-02058-9) with the journal, Cancer Cell International, without notifying either journal of the dual submission. The author (Gao G) has acknowledged that he used the same or highly similar data from the original manuscript that was used for the article published in Cancer Cell International without the consent of his co-authors. The submission was then made to OncoTargets and Therapy after altering the author list without the knowledge of his co-authors.

The Editor has agreed to the authors request to retract the article.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
