Noteworthy comment: The report highlights important findings related to the use of herbal cannabis for prescription drugs. Despite some limitations due to the nature of the study (survey), it points out significant findings on a potential reduction of the use of opioids (major substituted drug) by herbal cannabis (a much safer drug than opioids). In light of the opioid-related epidemic deaths in the US, this report is significant and timely.
