Noteworthy Comment: Negative RCT studies for the use of vitamins/minerals in clinical cardiology are well known. Many are less than ideal in providing definitive answers. Small doses, forms of vitamins and short durations of administration in patients with advanced disease being treated with multiple drugs and trial design have been cited as limitations. Is something being missed? This debated subject is reviewed here.
