Noteworthy Comment: This timely and comprehensive review is noteworthy in its balanced approach to the lack of adequate pain management education in medical school curricula. In addition to addressing the need to provide opioid education early in physicians' training, this paper has international applicability - despite the fact that opioid over-prescription has been most problematic in the United States.
