All Zika and mosquito-borne diseases research FREE to publish in Dove Medical Press journals

The Zika outbreak highlights to us the dangers posed by mosquito-borne diseases to developing countries with less complete healthcare coverage. Because of this, we are extending the APC waiver to not just Zika virus research but also research on all mosquito-borne diseases. We hope this will enable better and faster collaboration between researchers, clinicians and policy-makers in vulnerable countries to combat the threats posed by mosquito-borne infections, including but not limited to yellow fever, dengue fever and malaria.
In addition to waiving APCs, we will give priority processing to Zika virus papers in order to provide an even-faster publication time. Submit here, with the code Z2016.
We encourage anyone involved at any level of the Zika outbreak to report their findings, whether in the form of case reports, larger observational studies or even policy recommendations. Do get in touch with us if you have any questions.
