Aims and Scope

Clinical Audit is an international, peer reviewed, open access journal focusing on the processes and outcomes of clinical audit in any area of health care. All aspects of patient care are addressed within the journal and practitioners from all disciplines are invited to submit their work.

Clinical Audit will no longer consider meta-analyses for publication.

Areas covered include:

     
  • Publication of audits – local, national, and international
  • Changes in practice based on quality management/quality improvement data
  • How an audit contributes to a body of evidence and fosters changes in practice
  • Theoretical and practical aspects of clinical audit and relationship to evidence based practice
