Dr Xing Zhang

Dr. Xing Zhang is a Professor at Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in China, and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, San Diego in USA. Dr. Zhang has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles.

Professor Zhang's research interests include nanomaterials, artificial bone materials, and polymeric heart valve. He is a member of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society, Chinese Materials Research Society, Chinese Society For Biomaterials, and Society For Biomaterials (USA). He also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for multiple journals.
