Dr Fraser
Editor-in-Chief: Professor Scott Fraser
Scott Fraser is an NHS Consultant specialising in Ophthalmology. Within this, he works with a wide range of eyecare practitioners and has been involved in the training and validation of all the specialists allied to ophthalmology. His research interests also reflect this multidisciplinary approach and he has published in a wide range of allied journals. He serves on the Editorial board of a number of these journals. His main research interest is in Patient Safety and specifically the use of the best evidence in healthcare and the translation of this into everyday practice.
Professor Campbell
Editor-in-Chief: Professor Steve Campbell
Professor Steve Campbell leads an NHS multidisciplinary research programme within an acute hospital trust. He is a Manchester University graduate, from the Department of Nursing, which was at the time part of Manchester Medical School. He has qualifications in community nursing and children’s nursing, where he made significant contributions to the mouth care of children with cancer (his PhD). He is currently one of the few nurses in the UK to lead research as the de facto Research Director. Latterly his Patient Journey research, which changes the focus of services to being patient orientated, have developed services in 16 different specialties, impacting on primary care and acute sectors alike. His research has one thing in common, it is about improving patient care
