Professor Stone

Editor-in-Chief: Professor Trevor W. Stone

Professor Stone is a graduate of the University of London and the University of Aberdeen, and is currently a Professor of Pharmacology at the Unviersity of Glasgow. He is a regular referee for approximately 20 journals, as well as currently sitting on the editorial board of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease and PharmacologyOnline. At present, he combines his teaching activities with his role as co-cirector of PharmaLinks, a research cooperative between the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde, and as a Consultant Research Pharmacologist to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.

Professor Stone has published over 360 full research papers, including 3 in Nature and 1 in Science, over 200 proceedings abstracts, and has authored or edited 13 books. He has given over 50 invited lectures, and has chaired and organised multiple international symposia. He is a member of several international societies and associations, and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and the British Pharmacological Society.

Professor Stone has been with Glasgow University since 1989.
