Welcome to the inaugural issue of Vascular Health and Risk Management. It is our hope that this journal will provide a vehicle for the timely publication of important clinical information from studies undertaken by the international scientific community in academia and other institutions (ie, public, private, and government). Here at Dove Medical Press, we recognize that it is going to take some time for this new journal to find its rightful place, and we believe that we have the dedication, patience, and fortitude to reach that goal.
