Clinical question: What is the best treatment for traumatic corneal abrasion?

Results: Eye patching does not reduce pain in patients with corneal abrasions. Topical diclofenac does reduce pain in patients with corneal abrasions

• Treatment of larger abrasions

• When to refer for specialist treatment
