Editor-in-Chief: Dr Jerry Bagel

Jerry Bagel completed a medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. His postdoctoral training included an internship in internal medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine and a residency in dermatology at Columbia University. Dr. Bagel currently serves as Director of the Psoriasis Treatment Center of Central New Jersey in East Windsor and Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He is also a senior attending physician at the University Medical Center at Princeton.

Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Bagel serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation. Among Dr. Bagel’s many awards and honors are selection to Castle Connolly Medical’s Top Doctors of the New York Metro Area every year from 2001 to 2011 and as a Top Doctor by New Jersey Magazine.

Dr. Bagel is well published in the peer-reviewed literature, with articles on psoriasis appearing in such journals as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, New England Journal of Medicine, and Practical Dermatology. He is an active researcher, participating in numerous funded studies focusing on the efficacy of various treatments for psoriasis. Dr. Bagel is a nationally recognized expert in the treatment of psoriasis and is a frequent invited lecturer.
