Dr Colli is an Assistant Professor in Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. Dr Colli specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of urologic malignancies, has extensive expertise in multimodal approaches to complex problems and has a strong research interest in developmental therapeutics for prostate cancer and other malignancies including bladder and kidney cancer. She also has expertise in Urologic Reconstruction & Trauma. She has extensive experience in bladder replacement/augmentation, repair of urinary fistulas, urethral strictures, and ureteral reconstruction.

Dr Colli trained as a Urologist at West Virginia Uriversity, and then completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her research interests include epidemiology of urologic disease, prostate, kidney and bladder cancer outcomes, including prostate, kidney and bladder cancer screening, and outcomes of urologic surgery & treatments. Additional interests include identification of bio-markers for prostate, kidney and bladder cancer to aid in early detection of diseases. She has published extensively and is widely known for her work in epidemiology and the identification of risk factors in urologic malignancies.
